At Inner City Winemakers we blend a love of inner city culture with a passion for great Australian wines. Unique in Australia, our inner city winery is within walking distance of the Newcastle CBD and busy working Harbour.
Our wines are created using only the finest quality grapes sourced from various regions in New South Wales such as New England, Hunter Valley, Mudgee, Orange and Hilltops. The wine is the made in Newcastle at our Wickham Winery and cellar door.
Head Winemaker, Rob Wilce, has been in the industry for over thirty years, refining his craft at some of the Hunter Valley’s finest vineyards. Now, producing award winning wines for Inner City Winemakers, Rob’s passion has translated into a welcoming cellar door and unique wine tasting experience, centring around a shared love of wine.
From Grape to Bottle
Our expert team use elegantly simple, traditional methods to bring out the unique character of each grape variety, ensuring that every bottle is perfectly balanced and full of flavour.
Only the highest quality grapes from local New South Wales growers to are used to create our boutique wines. The Inner City Winemaker team are involved in every step of the winemaking, from crushing the grapes to overseeing the fermentation and bottling.
